Copy and Paste duplicate the selection. Or hold Alt/Opt and drag. Tap Del, press Delete, or drag text into the bottom-right corner to delete it. Drag the loop lines to set the playback range. Click the BPM to type a tempo. Pick a scale from the middle tile.
